Measuring Tips

Do you know how to measure yourself for the perfect fit? The following tips offer a guideline for determining body measurements for size estimation:

Bust

To measure your bust, stand straight and wrap a tape measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest. The tape measure should fit snugly and comfortably against you without pulling too tightly. Make sure the tape is parallel to the ground and doesn't run diagonally or dip around your back.

Waist

For a great waist measurement, wrap the tape around the narrowest part of your torso below your ribcage and above your hips. Stand as you normally would throughout the day and relax your stomach. If you're not sure you have the right spot, bend slightly to one side — the bend in your body is your natural waistline.

Hips

To measure your hips, first stand with your feet together. Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and roundest part of your rear, typically 7-8 inches down from your waist. Again, make sure the tape is parallel to the ground and doesn't run diagonally or dip around your rear.
